Book a Call

Performance Rewritten™

You’re really good at what you do.

So why does it never feel like you’ve done enough?

You answer the call. You figure it out. You think three steps ahead. You’re the one people can count on.

And even when you’re technically off, part of you is wondering what you forgot, who needs something, or what you should be doing next.

That’s how you learned to succeed in medical device. And it worked.

But what if that’s not the only way to be this successful?

Show me another way →

There is another way.

One where you can keep the ambition, make great money and do work that matters — without always feeling like you should be doing something else.

Keep the ambition. Rewrite the rules.

Performance Rewritten™

A 2-month private coaching experience for high-achieving women in medical device.

You know this world.

You’re working 60+ hours a week. Your phone is always close. And even when you’re technically off, part of your brain is still at work.

Did I forget something?

I need to make sure they got back to me.

What if that case changes tomorrow?

I should check my email.

I know I’m off, but it’ll bother me if I don’t respond.

And maybe the one you don’t say out loud:

Why can’t I just shut my brain off?

In medical device, this can start to feel normal.

You anticipate. You respond. You solve the problem. You know your stuff. You make sure nothing gets dropped.

And you get rewarded for it.

Customers trust you. Your team counts on you. You hit the number. You become the person everyone knows will figure it out.

So somewhere along the way, being a little on edge can start to feel like proof you’re doing it right.

Being busy means you’re important.

Being available means you’re committed.

Being needed means you’re valuable.

And when things actually get quiet?

You start wondering what you’re forgetting.

But you don’t want to do less.

You still want the next opportunity. The leadership role. The bigger goal. The money. The work that lights you up.

You just don’t want everything to feel so urgent all the time.

You don’t want to spend your days reacting to whatever needs you next — and your nights wondering what you forgot.

You want to know what actually needs your attention, stop feeling pulled toward everything at once, and be able to let work go when the workday is done.

You want to keep growing — without always feeling like you’re behind.

There is another way.

And that’s what we’re here to rewrite.

The rules you never realized you were following.

Medical device has taught you how to perform under pressure.

And along the way, you may have picked up a few invisible rules:

Be available. Say yes. Figure it out. Don’t drop the ball. Push through. Keep everyone happy. Hit the number. Then do it again next quarter.

Those patterns may have helped you become incredibly successful.

That’s what makes them so hard to question.

Being available worked. Figuring it out worked. Pushing through worked. Being the person everyone could count on worked.

But a strategy that helped you succeed can eventually become a rule you no longer realize you’re allowed to question.

And your brain gets very good at what you repeatedly ask it to do.

Urgency. Overthinking. Always being available. Pushing through. Immediately moving on to the next goal.

Eventually, those patterns can become automatic.

That’s what we’re here to rewrite.

Through the RISE Method™ — Resilient Mindset, Inner Energy, Success Strategy, and Empowered Self-Trust — we’ll help you recognize the patterns driving how you think, respond, make decisions, and use your energy.

But awareness is only the beginning.

We’ll retrain the patterns your brain has practiced for years — and give you practical systems, tools, and resources to help you operate differently in the moments that actually matter.

When everything feels urgent.
When someone needs something from you.
When your instinct is to say yes, jump in, check the email, or handle it yourself.

You’ll learn to pause, decide what actually deserves your attention, and respond in a way that reflects what matters most to you.

Because the goal isn’t to do less. It’s to feel more in control of where your time, energy, and attention go.

So you have more of yourself available for the work that excites you, the opportunities you want to pursue, and the life you’ve worked so hard to build.

That’s how you begin to live and work in a different world — one where your ambition is driven by what matters to you, not by everything that feels urgent.

Meet your coach

I know high performance because I lived it.

My entire career has been built in performance-driven sales environments.

Before medical device, I spent five years in pharmaceutical sales as both a sales representative and field trainer. Before that, I worked in 100% commission sales for an NBC affiliate — where results weren’t just measured, they determined what you earned.

Then I spent 20 years building my career in medical device at Medtronic — as a sales professional and field trainer in an industry where expectations are high, the pace is fast, and results matter.

I hit the numbers. Managed the territory. Took care of customers. Solved problems. Trained others. Stayed responsive. And became very good at being the woman people could count on to figure it out.

And here’s the thing: I loved a lot about it.

I loved the challenge. I loved achieving. I loved being good at what I did.

I wasn’t looking to become less ambitious or stop caring about my career.

I just started to realize I wanted work to take up less space in my life.

But realizing it and actually changing it were two very different things.

I had to do the work. I had to start noticing the patterns I had spent years practicing — the urgency, the overthinking, the need to handle everything, the feeling that I should always be doing more — and learn how to respond differently.

And something I didn’t expect happened.

I didn’t become less ambitious. I became more intentional about where I wanted my ambition to take me.

I took on leadership opportunities that lit me up. I stretched myself in new ways. I taught and supported other women. I said yes to things that mattered to me — while getting better at not treating everything like it deserved the same amount of my time and energy.

I wasn’t learning to do less. I was learning that I got to decide what deserved more of me.

I’m Michelle A. Bourque, M.A. Communication, a certified life coach, Certified Menopause Coaching Specialist, former top-performing medical device sales professional, and host of the It’s Your Time podcast. I also chaired Medtronic’s ASPIRE women’s leadership ERG, where I had the opportunity to work with and support women navigating many of the same pressures I had experienced throughout my career.

Today, I help high-achieving women look at success differently — not so they achieve less, but so work doesn’t have to consume so much of their time, energy, and headspace.

My approach brings together neuroscience, cognitive behavioral coaching, mindset, energy, strategy, and self-trust — and yes, a little woo — because high performance isn’t just about what you do.

It’s also about the patterns driving how you think, respond, make decisions, and experience your success.

You’ve already proven you can be successful.

Performance Rewritten™ is about changing the patterns that keep everything feeling urgent, work taking up so much headspace, and you feeling like you should always be doing more — so you can decide what success looks like for you in this season of your life, be more intentional about how you pursue it, and keep growing toward the opportunities and life you actually want.

Michelle A. Bourque

Michelle taught me the skills necessary to be a successful sales representative: positive mindset, resiliency, time management, high-performing habits, ability to think outside the box, and problem-solving solutions. She encouraged me to ask better questions that drove me to find better solutions for my customers and my business. Michelle inspired me to never give up — and to be more courageous and bold in my business.

What sustainable high performance actually looks like

This work doesn’t live in theory. It shows up in how your days actually feel.

01

You feel more in control of your time

You stop letting other people’s urgency dictate your day. Your calendar reflects what actually matters — not just what’s loudest. You stop ending the day wondering where your time went.

You lead your schedule instead of chasing it.

02

Energy that’s aligned — not forced

You stop pushing through on fumes just to get it done. Your hours actually feel productive. You know when to lean in — and when to step back — without guilt.

Less grind. More impact.

03

Clear priorities that move the needle

You get clear on what actually drives results — instead of treating everything like it deserves the same level of attention.

You know where to focus your time and energy, what can wait, and what doesn’t need your attention at all.

Less busywork. More focus on what actually moves the needle.

04

You make decisions without the mental spin

You stop overthinking every decision and carrying ten open loops in your head.

You make the decision. Trust yourself. Move forward.

05

Boundaries that protect your focus

You stop being available to everyone, all the time. You say no without over-explaining. You’re no longer resentful because you’re over-giving.

Your attention stops leaking everywhere.

06

You can actually enjoy what you’ve built

You hit the goal without immediately racing toward the next one.

There’s space for your career and your life.

That’s Performance Rewritten™.

By the end of this experience, you will…

  • Feel more in control of where your time, energy, and attention go
  • Know what actually needs your attention — and what can wait
  • Feel calmer and more grounded when everything around you feels urgent
  • Make decisions with more confidence and less second-guessing
  • Say no, step back, or let someone else handle it — without carrying the guilt afterward
  • Get better at leaving work at work instead of carrying it around in your head
  • Build habits that hold up even during your busiest quarters
  • Have more energy for the opportunities, people, and experiences that matter to you
  • Keep growing, achieving, and performing at a high level — without always feeling like you should be doing more
  • Leave with personalized systems, tools, and resources you can continue using long after our two months together

You’re not becoming less ambitious. You’re becoming more intentional about where your ambition takes you — and building a way of working and living that you can continue long after our time together.

Introducing

Performance Rewritten™

A 2-month private coaching experience for high-achieving women in medical device who are ready for a different way to be successful.

Not less ambitious. Not less driven. And definitely not stepping away from the career you’ve worked hard to build.

Performance Rewritten™ is about changing the patterns that keep everything feeling urgent, work running through your head, and you wondering if you should be doing more.

Together, we’ll use the RISE Method™ to help you build new ways of thinking, responding, prioritizing, and making decisions — with practical tools, systems, and support you can use in the middle of your actual life and your busiest quarters.

So you can keep growing, achieving, and pursuing the opportunities that matter to you — while feeling more in control of how you get there.

This is for you if you are…

  • A successful woman in medical device who loves what she does and wants to keep growing
  • Working long hours and wondering why it still feels like there’s always more you should be doing
  • Tired of everything feeling urgent — even when it really isn’t
  • Ready to stop carrying work around in your head when you’re supposed to be off
  • Making a decision — and then continuing to think about it afterward
  • Wanting more energy for the opportunities, people, and experiences that matter to you
  • Not looking to become less ambitious — you want to feel more in control of where your ambition takes you

Imagine yourself here…

Waking up clear instead of already behind

Walking into sales calls grounded and confident

Executing your day without overthinking every decision

Leading your schedule instead of reacting to it

Having more energy for the parts of your life that actually matter

Building habits that stick — even during your busiest quarters

Ending the year proud of how you performed and how you felt

This is what a different way can look like — still ambitious, still growing, and more intentional about what you’re growing toward.

What’s included

Inside the 2 months

01

45-Minute Performance Rewritten™ Kickoff Session

We’ll start with a deeper conversation about where you are, what you want, what’s taking up the most time and energy right now, and what you want to be different by the end of our two months together.

We’ll get clear on your priorities so your coaching is focused on what will make the biggest difference for you.

02

Private 1:1 Coaching — Bi-Weekly Sessions

Personalized coaching through the RISE Method™, focused on what’s happening in your actual work and life — the decisions, patterns, priorities, conversations, and opportunities that matter most to you.

03

Your Coach, In Your Pocket

The coaching doesn’t stop when our call ends.

For the full two months, you’ll have private access to me through Voxer — an easy voice-messaging app that works a lot like sending a voice text.

And this is where some of the most valuable coaching can happen — in your actual life, while it’s happening.

You’re walking into a difficult conversation and want to get your head straight first.

Your manager asks you to take on something else and you’re not sure how to respond.

You had a rough day and your brain is making it mean something about you.

You’re debating a career decision and can’t stop going in circles.

Or something we talked about suddenly clicks and you want to build on it.

You don’t have to save it for our next session or try to recreate how you felt three days later.

We coach it while it’s relevant.

Think of it as having a coach in your pocket — helping you apply what we’re working on to your actual career and life in the moments that matter.

Never used Voxer? If you can send a voice text, you can use Voxer. I’ll show you exactly how it works.

04

Personalized Tools & Resources

This isn’t about giving you more things to do.

As we work together, you’ll build a personalized set of tools, practices, systems, and resources you can return to when work gets busy, everything starts feeling urgent, or you notice yourself slipping back into old patterns.

The goal is for you to leave our two months together knowing how to use what you’ve learned long after our coaching ends.

05

Personalized Connection Opportunities

When it feels aligned, I’ll also make thoughtful, organic introductions that can expand your perspective, support, and professional network — without forced networking or pressure.

Your investment

You’ve spent years investing your time and energy into becoming really good at what you do. This is an investment in how you want to experience what comes next.

Performance Rewritten™ is intentionally high-touch, and I work with a limited number of private clients at a time so the coaching can be personal, responsive, and focused on what matters most to you.

When current coaching spots are filled, enrollment will pause until space opens again.
